After the brunch at the Union Kitchen, we went for a walk at Nyhavn. Such a beautiful place, it is. Nyhavn, which original name was Det Nye Havn, from 1673, was a trading harbour, where ship from around the world arrived. It was initiated by King Christian V. Today it’s Nyhavn and is full of restaurant, bars and the colourful houses.
Lunch was planned at Carlsbergbyen, more precisely at Tramonto Rooftop, an Italian restaurant at the top of the Carlsberg building. It is a well-known restaurant. Spacious, with view, great, authentic, creative Italian menu. Great food!
We both got a vegetarian lunch – I got the Pasta Norma Style, a vegan pasta with aubergine chips, aubergine créme (this was their way) and peanuts. Beautiful and lovely! The drink I got was a Berry Wine, an alcohol-free drink. It was perfect for my lunch, as I love ginger beer 😉
For dessert I went with the popular Limonedi Cioccolato Bianco e Yuzu – a dessert with lemon, yuzu and white chocolate. So refreshing and delicious at the same time. I really loved it.
