Oreo cheesecake… Yummy! I am actually tired of cheesecakes with gelatine, and I think we need more focus on recipes WITHOUT gelatine. I mean, why put something as gelatine in a cake? 😉
The recipe below serves 8. And it’s easy to make. And super yummy. Enjoy 🙂
Note: You need to make this cake at least 4 hours before you serve it!
Ingredients:
- 1 pack oreo biscuits (regular or brownie)
- 100 g butter
- 200 g cream cheese, natural/regular
- 1/4 l heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon cane sugar or powdered suger (both goes fine)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
Grind the biscuits and butter together to a dough. Tranfer the dough to a 40 x 20 cm pie dish, and form the base, and let it rest in the refrigerator.
Whisk the cream with sugar and vanilla till it peaks.
Add the cream cheese and whisk for 1 min. Add more sugar, if you want to and whisk for another 1 min.
Take out the pie dish and pour the cream cheese mixture on the base. Let the cake rest in the refrigerator for minimum 4 hours before serving it.
