Lassi is an Indian yoghurt drink. Originally it was a mixture of yoghurt, salt and other spices. The Tamils make a thinner version, called mor/moar, which is my faveourite sour yoghurt drink. When it comes to lassi, I prefer the one with mango. I have now made it several times, and we love to drink it now and then 😉
This recipe serves 4 small portions or 2 large, and is made with frozen mangoes.
150 g frozen mangoes, slightly thawed
0,5 l plain yoghurt
1 table spoon agave syrup/cane sugar/honey
1 tea spoon ground cardamom (optional)
[I add 4-5 raspberries too! 😉 ]
In a blender, blend the thawed mangoes (and raspberries), till it’s smooth.
Then pour the remaining ingredients and blend. If needed, add more sugar/syrup.
